Description
Charles Schwab and the US Government begins with Wayne Pierce’s friendship and romance with Varian (Kim) Haines, with family ties to Varian Associ- ates and Micron Corporation. On the day before they become engaged to be married, Kim confesses that she was previously engaged to Charles Schwab of brokerage fame. As the story unfolds we learn about an obsessed Schwab who is intent on destroying their relationship and regaining the affection of his former lover. To achieve his goal, Schwab engages in a campaign of illegal activities that include harassment, stalking, computer hacking, and financial coercion. After Schwab succeeds in destroying their relationship, Pierce files complaints against him. However, he learns first hand that billionaires like Schwab are above the law when President Bush blocks the FBI and SEC from investigating his complaints. When Pierce persists and seeks assistance from Congress, Schwab and Bush make several attempts to entrap him and silence him. Pierce discusses in detail how Schwab and the US government attempt to frame him for attempting to kill Schwab. Had they been successful, he would not been able to tell his story. With renewed hope, Pierce takes his complaints against Schwab and Bush to newly elected Barack Obama. Not only does Obama refuse to communicate with, or investigate Pierce’s complaints, he joins the conspiracy to protect Schwab. Spying, stalking, and attempts to entrap Pierce increase significantly under Obama. Because he reported Schwab’s many months of criminal activities to the US government, Pierce has been the target of Charles R Schwab, the Charles Schwab Corporation, and the US government’s wrath for the past ten years.
